제목 | Performance improvement effect on poly/single-crystalline Ni-rich NCM according to conductive agents |
초록 | While Li1.03Ni0.88Co0.08Mn0.04O2(Ni-rich NCM) has a superior specific capacity compared to conventionallycommercialized cathode active materials, it has a very low electronicconductivity. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the electrode density for goodcontact between the cathode active material and the conductive agent. However,while the high electrode density is very effective for the electronicconductivity of the conductive material in proportion to the pressure, it formsa poor Li ion transport pathway by decreasing the porosity and increasing thetortuosity in the electrode. In this study, we investigated how the addition ofCNTs, which have superior electronic conductivity and higher porosity thancarbon, affects the performance of poly/single crystalline Ni-rich NCM-basedcathode electrodes. As a result, it was confirmed that by adding CNTs to the PC/SC Ni-rich NCM-based electrode under 3C cycle conditions, the cycleretentions were improved by 3%, respectively. |
