제목 Modulator-Assisted Synthesis of Zinc-based Coordination Polymer Nanocubes and Post-Modification through Secondary Metal Ion Decoration
초록 Coordination polymer particles (so called metal organic frameworks) are generally constructed through the coordination-driven assembly of metal ions or clusters with multitopic organic linkers. Their structural tailorability, high degree of porosity, and diverse chemical functionalities render them promising candidates for numerous potential applications. In this work, we report a shape-controllable synthetic protocol for Zinc-based coordination polymer nanocubes (Zn-CPNs). In the synthesis, 2,6-bis[(4-carboxyanilino)carbonyl] pyridine ([N3]) ligand is employed as an efficient shape-directing modulator to control the size and shape of Zn-CPNs. The [N3] ligand provides plenty of metal binding sites and beneficial defects in the structure of Zn-CPNs, which is suitable for the coordination of other functional metals. The secondary metal ion-modified Zn-CPNs exhibit improved catalytic activities.
