제목 Preparation of 4-Arm Star Polymer Containing Copper-Phthalocyanine and Its Optical Property
초록 Metallophthalocyanines (MPc) have drawn considerable attentions as molecular materials with outstanding electronic and optical properties. In recent years, MPcs were intensively investigated as target molecules for the sensors, light-emitting devices, and photodynamic therapy. Even with vast applications, it was difficult to synthesize soluble MPcs in molecular level due to their aggregation properties, resulting from their strong π-π interaction. In this study, we introduced the well-defined α-functionalized polystyrene with phthlonitirile group via ATRP to prepare the soluble copper phthalocyanine. The 4-arm star polymer was synthesized through the tetracyclization of α-functionalized polystyrenes with copper chloride. The formation of 4-arm star polymer was verified by UV/Vis spectroscopy and GPC with UV detector at 350 nm. The optical property was characterized using photoluminescence spectroscopy.
