제목 Monodispersed Ni-Ce@SiO2 core-shell structured catalysts for dry reforming of methane
초록  For a direct production of syngas from greenhouse gases such asmethane and carbon dioxide, a dry reforming of methane with CO2 (DRM)has been largely investigated, which can be used as the sources of value-added chemicals.Ni-based heterogeneous catalysts are known to be appropriate, however, thermalaggregations of Ni nanoparticles and severe coke depositions are generallycausing a fast deactivation. In the present study, the highly monodispersed Ni-CeO2nanoparticles encapsulated with SiO2 shells were synthesized and thecatalyst showed a significant suppression of coke formations and aggregations bythe spatial confinement effects, resulted in showing an enhanced DRM reaction activity and stability.
