제목 Bio-engineering of Neo-corneas using Aloe Vera Gel blended Silk Fibroin Film for Cornea Endothelial Cells Regeneration
초록 Different ratios of aloe vera gel blended film scaffolds were fabricated well with silk fibroin solution (SF). Clear extracted gel from aloe vera which is also known as mucilage has been reported for its anti-inflammatory property and used as medical herb for thousand years. It has been observed that 3 wt.% aloe vera gel blended film with silk fibroin solution get good morphology and cell proliferation results. The composite material support cell growth and form hexagonal morphology with maintaining its function. Results suggest that incorporation of aloe vera gel blended with silk fibroin film scaffolds can be positively applied in cornea transplantation which should be clear and has mobility of waterFabricated silk fibroin films with several concentration of aloe vera gel were analyzed for various properties such as like, FESEM, contact angle, transparency, FTIR, MTT assay, mRNA expression, histological expression, in vivo test, etc.
