| 제목 | Importance of Supply Chains in New Energy-intensive Economic Environments |
| 초록 | Global business environments enforce companies to produce and deliver products in the right amount at the right time at the right place in a cost efficient manner. In order to accomplish these multiple objectives simultaneously, supply chains and their management have been the focus of interest in entire industries. The attention on supply chain has been shifted from core businesses into energy industries as well. Recently the concept of supply chains has been again revolutionized in the context of value chains, reverse supply chains, etc. The attention on supply chain is due to its ability to minimize the overall cost involving raw material procurement, production, transportation, warehouse inventory holding, customer satisfactions. Energy is core business and its impact on society is too much to be emphasized. In this paper supply chain in the context of energy supply and demand networks will be investigated with a focus on cost minimization and sustainability preservation. |
