The FeS2 electrode is one of the most attractive and important research for developing high-performance dye sensitied solar cells (DSSCs). In this study, FeS2 cubic and spherical nanocrystals (NCs) were successfully synthesized through a facile, low cost and reproducible hot injection method. The properties of as-synthesized FeS2 cubic and spherical NCs were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), raman shift, transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and current density-voltage (J-V) curve. The efficiency of obtained FeS2 cubic and spherical shapes comparing to Pt couter electrode is not much lower, it means that these pyrite shapes can be potentially used as the effective counter electrodes for DSSCs in commercial. |
