제목 Chromatographic Analysis of Methanol and Formic Acid Fuel Cross-over in Direct Liquid Feed Fuel Cells
초록 In this study, we present experimental results and analysis of fuel cross-over on the various operating conditions of direct formic acid and direct methanol fuel cells (DFAFCs and DMFCs). To measure the fuel cross-over, the cathode effluent gas was passed through a catalytic oxidizer, and the converted CO2 was measured using gas chromatography (GC) to detect CO2. Detected CO2 gas was attributed to oxidized fuel that has permeated from anode to cathode.
