제목 Optimization of Culture Conditions for Enhanced Phycobiliprotein Production in Synechocystis sp. PCC 7338
초록 Experiments were conducted to establish the optimized culture conditions for enhancement of cell growth and phycobiliprotein production. Phycobiliprotein is known as high-priced fluorescent markers. In case of culturing at different temperatures, the highest phycobiliprotein concentration at about 0.2 mg/mL when cultured at 30°. Light intensity showed high growth at 20 and 100 μE/m2/s, but phycobiliprotein at 20 μE/m2/s was about 2 times higher than at 100 μE/m2/s. When variety nitrogen sources were used, samples using all nitrogen sources showed similar growth in the log phase. However, the highest fresh cell weight and phycobiliprotein in the nitrate culture. Based on the results of the above experiments, it was concluded that the optimal conditions for the phycobiliprotein production using the Box-Benken design were 0.12 g/L for phosphate content, 28.2°C for culture temperature and 30 g/L for salt content.
