제목 Preparation and characterization of sponge using demineralized bone particle
초록 One of the significant natural bioactive materials is demineralized bone particle (DBP) whose has a powerful inducer of new bone growth. Crosslinked DBP sponges were characterized for the possibility of tissue engineered scaffolds. DBP sponges were prepared by crosslinking with 1 ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminpropyl) carbodiimide hydrochloride (EDC). DBP powders dissolved in 3% (v/v) acetic acid aqueous solution for 48 hrs and freeze dried. EDC solution (H2O: ethanol = 5: 95) with 1~100mM concentration for 24 hrs and lyophilized. DBP sponges were characterized by scanning electron microscopy and Fourier transforms infrared spectrometer and water absorption ability. Those results, It was observed that the concentration of EDC might be exceeded 50 mM to get good physical characteristics. In conclusion, it seems that DBP sponge cold be very useful for the applications of tissue construction. Acknowledgement: This work was supported by KMOHW (0405-BO01-0204-0006).
