Carbon materials have been recognized as one of promising materials for hydrogen storage. Porous carbon flakes having very narrow pores can store large amount of hydrogen molecules at 298K and 10 MPa in our previous work. In this work, we prepared hybrid materials composed of CNT and porous carbon flakes for hydrogen storage. Several kinds of CNTs were used such as MWNT, DWNT, and SWNT. Structural properties of the samples were evaluated by a XRD measurement, and textural properties were investigate by N2/77K adsorption isotherms. Hydrogen storage behaviors of the samples were studied by a volumetric method at room temperature and 10 MPa. |
