Synthesis of fluorine compounds and nanoporous silica from waste hexaflurosilicic acid (H2SiF6) of fertilizer industry |
초록 |
Hydrofluoric acid (HF) and other fluorine compounds, such as Sodium fluoride (NaF), are recovered by reacting hexaflurosilicic (H2SiF6) acid from fertilizer industry with a sodium carbonate (Na2CO3) to forms an alkaline aqueous slurry comprising precipitated nanoporous silica and liquid sodium fluoride. The nanoporous silica was separated from alkaline aqueous slurry leaving behind an aqueous solution of sodium fluoride. The Sodium fluoride was obtained from aqueous solution by spray dryer which further reacted with sulphuric acid at favorable conditions to form hydrofluoric acid. The obtained nanoporous silica was characterized by N2 absorption/desorption and SEM. |
