제목 Silver/carbon composites for electrocatalytic CO2 reduction
초록 The electrochemical CO2 conversion is one of the most attractive process to reduce CO2 emission. Among the metal catalysts, Ag is considered as the most appropriate catalyst due to the outstanding selectivity and catalytic activity for CO production. However, as a noble metal, the utilization of single Ag only is too costly to be applied in scale-up. Therefore, in this study, composite catalysts of Ag loaded on carbon black support with the different ratios were synthesized through ultrasonic spray pyrolysis. The properties of the Ag/C composites were analyzed by TGA, XRD, SEM, TEM and BET. The electrochemical performances of the catalysts were conducted in the flow cell and the CO production was evaluated. Furthermore, various binder contents were also performed to investigate the effects on carbon-supported composite catalyst through CO production.
