Combination ofnon-thermal plasma and a catalyst for decomposition of VOCs |
초록 |
Various technologies have been investigated for decomposing VOCs: catalytic oxidation, adsorption, and incineration. But, these techniques have some problems that require expensive and high energy consumption. Recently, an alternative way is to use non-thermal plasma (NTP) technologies to decrease energy consumption and to enhance VOCs decomposition efficiency. In this study, we report an approach based on the synergistic combination of NTP reactor and catalysts. The plasma-catalysis system indicated improvement of VOCs decomposition and energy efficiency. |
