Highly functionalized branched dendrimers have been used in numerous applications and multi-non-linear optical chromophore containg dendrimers have been significantly attention as a promising candidates for making electro-optic (EO) devices, since the electric field poling of dendrimers containing chromophore are often prevented from hinderance by large dipole moment of the molecules. However, somtimes dendritic chromophores showed low electro-optical activities, because of theire rigidity prevented proper poling process. Dendritic Non-linear Optical Chromophores with ethoxylated groups as spacers between chrmophore and three-functional core material were prepared and examined their properties. |
