제목 Effect of mechanical and chemical properties of synthetic fabrics on microplastics generation
초록 As increasing production of 65 million tons of synthetic fibers in 2016, generating more microplastic from textiles and detecting microplastics fiber from marine. Microplastic fibers refers to 3 nm or more and 15 mm and the length to diameter ratio exceeds 3. Studies on the release of microplastics during the washing were conducted, but there is still lack of information to determine the difference in the release of microplastics due to different fabric construction. Thus, to find out the effect of the release of microplastics according to difference in the hand evaluation of fabric classified by chemical composition, the mechanical properties of the fabrics were measured, and it was confirmed that the difference in the amount of microplastics released.
