Analysis on Growth of TiO2 Nanoparticles in Diffusion Flame Reactor and Its Application to Photodegradation of Organic Compounds |

Our research focuses on the TiO2 particle growth in the diffusion flame reactor. The effects of several process conditions on particle size and morphology were investigated. The particle size distributions of TiO2 particles express bimodal patterns with small sized and large sized particles because the particles were collected from the different height of pyrex cylinder wall. As the fuel/O2 ratio increases, the size of small-sized and large-sized particles increase. As the fuel/O2 ratio and total gas flow rate increases, the mass fraction of rutile phase in TiO2 synthesized in diffusion flame reactor increases. |
