Nanostructured MoOX thin films have drawn great attentions due to their unique electrochemical properties for various applications, especially for lithium ion battery and solar rechargeable sodium-ion intercalation batter, recently. The growth of MoOX nanostructures is achieved by using Mo wire feeder incorporated flame vapor deposition system. Nanotubes and nanowires are successfully obtained by adjusting process conditions. There are several process parameters including CH4/ O2 ratio, Mo wire feed rate, deposition height, substrate temperature. Nanostructures, such as nanotubes and nanowires can only grow when CH4/ O2 ratio is 1:1.9. Mo wire feed rate has great impact on the morphology of nanostructures. As feed rate increases, nanostructures change from nanowires to nanotubes to branched tree-like structures. The feed rate controllable FVD process is a facile approach and offers a fast growth rate for MoOX nanostructures growth. This work provides a promising approach for nanostructured MoOX thin film growth. |
