제목 The thermal and mechanical properties of the DGEBF/4,4′-diamino diphenyl methane system with different contents of siloxane
초록 To determine the effect of siloxane on DGEBF (diglysidylether of bisphenol F)/4,4′-diamino diphenyl methane system on thermal and mechanical properties, the different weight percent of siloxane was added to the DGEBF/DDM system. the thermal and mechanical properties of epoxy system are significantly influenced on the change of silonxane contents. As increase of the amount of siloxane, the thermal and mechanical properties of epoxy system such as thermal stability, glass transition temperature (Tg), tensile modulus and strength, flexural modulus and strength show higher value. These results are attributed to the amount of ‘Si-O’ group having good flexibility and the epoxy conversion rate while extending of curing reaction.
