Study on the Change of Physical Properties by Formulation Control of Hydrophobic Films |

Recently, silica particles were mainly used to impart a hydrophobic surface. The hydrophobic property is particularly associated with surface energy and surface roughness. In this experiment, the surface roughness was controlled by adjusting the formulation. The formulation consists of modified silica, the solvent, the dispersion stabilizer and the binder. Control factors of the formulations include silica surface modification, modified silica content, leveling agent addition, solvent dilution and binder type. The change of optical and surface properties according to the control factors of the formulation process were confirmed by haze meter, contact angle analyzer, SEM-EDX. |
