The Issue of Thermal Expansion Between Dissimilar Materials and Adhesive Affected by Flexible Adhesive |
초록 |
Thermal expansion is one of the most important factors when using dissimilar materials and adhesive. Thermal fatigue occurs at high and low temperatures due to the different coefficients of thermal expansion. If thermal expansion and contraction are repeated, internal stress in generated in the repeated area. These stresses can cause brittle or ductile failure as cracks grow larger. The main epoxy adhesives have high crosslinking density and brittle properties. When such thermal fatigue accumulates inside the adhesive due to its brittle characteristics. It is important to make the existing epoxy flexible and expand and contract in the vicinity of the elastic region against expansion a contraction. |
