제목 Preparation of injectable particles immobilized protein drugs using UV-curable Gelatin derivatives
초록 Free drugs cannot remain in the affected sites during treatment because of its short half life, and it is also difficult to achieve effect because of degradation caused by enzymes. Photo-immobilization techniques can be used to fix rapidly degradable drugs in the body and to maintain the drug constantly.  The drug immobilization material is a natural polymer that should have biocompatibility, biodegradability and low toxicity, and can be applied to medical materials technology. One of natural polymer, gelatin is harmless to human, and is decided suitable material that meet the conditions. 1H-NMR and FT-IR spectroscopy were demonstrated that azido group was introduced into Gelatin. The ability to encapsulate drug was confirmed by fluorescent protein using fluorescence microscope. Based on these characteristics, Az-Gelatin is expected to be application in medical field.
