Highly Conductive Silver Embedded Electrode for Fabricating Flexible Electronics via Electro-hydrodynamic Printing |

In this study, direct noble patterning of electrode using electro-hydrodynamic 2-dimensional printing (e-2DP) is demonstrated. The 1-dimensional wire pattern is sequentially assembled step by step, it could be resulted in precisional 2-dimensional electrode on polymer layer. The electrode is composed of silver precursor and reducing agent with two-step nozzle process on pliable insulating polymer substrate at ambient condition for 8 hours. Interestingly, patterned sliver precursor solution infiltrates into polymer layer which enables high sensitivity and good uniformity. It is due to the effect that reduced silver particles moderately embedded in polymer layer. Actually, the electrode resistance has 34.2 Ω/cm. Hence, we can fabricate highly durable electrode without any more procedure. This process is formed highly conductive silver-embedded electrodes which have potential to be applied in various flexible electronics. |
