제목 Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering-based Bioimaging of Biohybrid Nanoprobes with Silver Nanoclusters
초록 Surface Enhanced Raman scattering (SERS)-based bioimaging has been of great interest due to high sensitivity, good photostability and excellent capability for multiplex detection of biomarkers. In this study, a new class of biohybrid SERS nanoprobes with silver nanoclusters (Ag NCs) was developed for highly sensitive cancer cell imaging. Raman dye-induced Ag NCs were embedded within submicron sized polymer particles with variable densities via electrohydrodynamic jetting, followed by chemical stabilization. The polymeric particles with Ag NCs provide a variety of functional groups for conjugation of biomolecules. The HER2 antibody-modified biohybrid nanoprobes were selectively bound to the SKBR3 human cancer cells expressing HER2 biomarkers when incubated with the cells, and showed strong SERS-based imaging signals of the cancer cells with high sensitivity. Various Raman reporters and biomolecules could be introduced to the biohybrid nanoprobes for multiplexed targeting and imaging.
