제목 Preparation of anisotropic materials by ‘electrohydrodynamic jetting of countercharged nozzles’
초록 Nanotechnologies are the key techniques to construct the nanostructures in the nanoscale range for future applications. EJC used an attraction force between negative and positive surface charges generated by electrohydrodynamic spinning and spraying. Hydrophilic silica nanoparticles were attached onto hydrophobic surface of polystyrene (PS) electrospun fibers. The surface properties of these fibers were characterised by SEM, contact angle, and their moisture adsorption was studied under OM. The wettability of PS fiber with and without silica particles are 900 and 1180 respectively. Surface morphology reveals the smooth and bead free fibers with attached silica particles. The particles were embedded into the PS fibers by simple annealing and embedding area was controlled with the period of time. It concludes that 90 mins of annealing gives half embedded silica particles. The advantage of this technique is possible to prepare Janus particle using half embedded silica.
