Electronic papers have attracted a great deal of interest for applications involving information displays requiring low cost, light weight, flexibility, and low power consumption. In this paper, microcapsules containing polymer-coated titanium dioxide and black electronic ink suspension as core materials were fabricated via complex coacervation using gelatin/acacia as wall materials. the microcapsules were characterized in terms of their microstructure, morphologies, and electrophoretic display cell structure by means of optical microscopy. |
