Sodium hydroxide is one of main chemicals that are used to make wafer, the material of silicon solar cell. However, some impurities like nickel or ferric ions can be included in liquid sodium hydroxide. These impurities cause the decrease of efficiency of solar cell. Electrowinning is suggested as a countermeasure for removing these impurities. In this small research, the influence of high-concentrated sodium hydroxide at electrowinning is studied. And the applicability of carbon nickel assembled electrode is examined. |
