제목 | Nanoporous Carbon Material with hierarchical Pore Structure derived from Wooden Biomass for High performance supercapacitor |
초록 | For a few decades, biomass conversion technologies are investigated intensively on carbon material fields due to their characteristics such as abundance, environmental-friendly and ease of processing. In this study, we focused on a biomass of agricultural waste which is called as empty fruit bunch (EFB) of oil palm tree. Our strategy is to convert carbon materials from EFB to hierarchically nanoporous carbon material using hydrothermal carbonization and KOH activation as an alternative material to established activated carbon. The obtained material possessed ultrahigh specific surface area over 3000 m2 g-1 and average pore diameter of nanoporous less than 2 nm. On the basis of their ultrahigh specific surface area and superior electrochemical conductivity, the as-obtained nanoporous carbon showed outstanding electrochemical performances. The exceptional ion and electron transport properties of as-obtained carbon material are observed to be an asset for high power supercapacitor. |
