제목 음이온 중합의 기초에서 상업적 응용까지
초록 Anionic polymerization is a powerful tool to make block or random copolymers, or chain end functionalized polymers. Currently LG Chem is producing several kinds of SBS (styrene butadiene block copolymer) and SSBR (styrene butadiene random copolymer). SBS block copolymer, which is used in asphalt modification and impact modifiers for plastics, the dispersion into its media is very important. Block structures of copolymer, chain end modification, etc. was successfully tried to improve these properties. SSBR is mainly used in tire materials, require delicate control of its chain structures, macroscopic and microscopic. Recently the tire market began to employ tire labeling system, which requires intensive improvements of tire material’s performances. To follow these changes, SSBR is now being improved to get better adhesion to the silica surfaces by employing chain end modifications. In this presentation the basic introduction, industrial applications and the technical improvement of anionic polymerization in LG Chem will be discussed.
