There is a method to make unstable high energy materials into more stable co-crystals with low energy materials. In this study, co-crystallization was carried out using high energy materials and co-formers. Before the crystallization, solubility was investigated to select a solvent and an anti-solvent, and through this, the solvent was selected as Ethyl Acetate and the anti-solvent as n-heptane. The anti-solvent feed rate was 0.1 g/min. The co-crystal formation was confirmed by raman analysis according to the composition of the high energy material and the selected co-former. In addition, XRD and SEM analysis confirmed the co-crystal formation. XRD analysis confirmed co-crystal formation by identifying peaks that did not exist in the two raw materials. SEM analysis confirmed the formation of co-crystal by confirming that new crystals had a different crystal shape and size form from the existing high-energy material and co-former crystal. |
