제목 All-Solution-Processed Polymer Light-Emitting Diodes with Improved Light Out-Coupling
초록 We demonstrated the fabrication of all-solution-processed polymer light-emitting diodes (PLEDs) with enhanced light extraction, which implies all fabrication processes of PLEDs proceed via solution-processing from the preparation of out-coupling structures to the deposition of organic layers except the deposition of metal cathode. In order to extract the light confined inside the devices for high external quantum efficiency, we used solution-processible out-coupling structures. A corrugated structure can be prepared quickly by a spin-coating process with a mixture of SiO2 and TiOx sol solution. A scattering structure was also prepared by spin-coating of SiO2 sol solution containing TiO2 particles. With the corrugated structure and the scattering layer introduced outside and inside the glass substrate, respectively, external quantum efficiency of solution-processed PLEDs was increased without change in the electroluminescence spectrum.
