제목 Enhanced Light Extraction Efficiency of Organic Light Emitting Diodes using Hydrogen Silsesquioxane Nano-pillar Arrays
초록 The out-coupling efficiency of organic light emitting diode (OLED), ratio of number of photons extracted through the front face of device to number of photons generated in OLED is at most 20~30%. Lots of losses are created by total internal reflection between air, glass, transparent electrode and organic layer. To extract lights from organic light emitting diodes (OLED), nano-pillar array (RaDNA) was embedded between the transparent electrode and the glass substrate. Hydrogen silsesquioxane (HSQ) was utilized as material of nano-pillar array by using nano-imprining lithography method. The RaDNA OLED showed enhancement in normal direction and in integrating sphere. The emission pattern of RaDNA device had any variation of emission spectrum with an azimuthal angle and any specific patterns.
