Improvement of Dissolution Rate of Prothionamide and PVP K-30/Eudragit RSPO Solid Dispersion by Spray Drying |

The purpose of this study, prothionamide synthesized with two polymers can improve release characterization with spray drying. The solid dispersion was formulated by added hydrophilic PVP K-30 for enhanced biocompatibility, and increased eudragit® RSPO. SEM was used to observe surface of solid dispersion from confirm a sphere of solid dispersion, DSC and XRD were used to analyze the amorphous of solid dispersion. The in vitro test was carried out to find improved dissolution rate of valsartan solid dispersion in intestinal juice and controlled experiment was carried out to compare valsartan solid dispersion with original drug. These results suggested that we confirmed that the change of amorphous crystallization, the release characterization and the increase in dissolution rate follow the polymer ratio when the formulation prepared by spray drying. |
