제목 | Effect of flexible Cu2ZnSn(S,Se)4 solar cells with CuAlO2 passivation layers |
초록 | We have fabricated flexible Cu2ZnSn(S,Se)4 (CZTSSe) thin film solar cells (TFSCs) with Mo foil substrates. Generally, Mo is used in the high-efficiency solar cell such as CIS, CIGS because it has ohmic contact, good adhesion and formed the diffusion barrier layer Mo(S,Se)2 [1]. Hence, the Mo metal is used in the kesterite solar cell that may increase the open circuit voltage. But some researchers reported its negative impact on the solar cell device [2]. When we fabricate the CZTSSe solar cells, there are some problems such as thick secondary phase layers. If the Mo(S,Se)2 layer mentioned above is formed too thick, it will adversely affect the device. So, there are more requirements to do the research work in this field. Recently, there have been reports of results that CuAlO2 (CAO) buffer layers can solve this problem [3]. The application of CAO buffer layers on Mo substrate have been expected reduce Mo(S,Se)2 secondary phase layers in interface Mo/CZTSSe. In this work, we have studied the effect of CAO buffer layers in flexible CZTSSe TFSCs. We deposited directly the CAO buffer layers on Mo foil by using sputtering system. And then, we deposited Mo/CAO/CZTSSe/Zn(O,S)/i-ZnO:AZO/Al in order. Furthermore, we have investigated the effect of CAO buffer layers on flexible CZTSSe TFSCs by solar simulator. As a result, in the device, Rs reduced and Rsh increased. Due to this effect, Jsc and FF increased, and high efficiency could be obtained. [1] Sol. Energy Mater. Sol.
