Vapor-phase thin-film coating of PEDOT on PET substrate for electroluminescence device |

Transparent thin coating of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) was investigated through vapor-phase deposition of 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT) on flexible polyethyleneterphthalate (PET) plastic substrates coated by Fe(III)-tosylate (Fe(OTs)3). High conductivities were obtained (~500 S.cm-1) with high transmission in the UV-visible range 350–800 nm and low surface roughness (~2 nm). The described technique can easily be adapted to different patterning techniques in organic electroluminescent device and others. |
