제목 Effects of Recycle and Split Ratio on the Performance of Carbon Dioxide Utilized Gas-to-Liquids Process
초록 Two process models for carbon dioxide (CO2) utilized gas-to-liquids process mainly producing light olefins and Fischer-Tropsch (F-T) synthetic oils are developed by Aspen Plus software to evaluate the process efficiency and CO2 emission. Two models are mainly composed of a reforming unit, a F-T synthesis unit using Fe based catalyst and a recycle unit. With recycling, it was found that thermal and carbon efficiency increased, less amount of CO2 was emitted from the process and more C2~C4 olefins and C5+ hydrocarbons were produced. It was shown that the process efficiency was sensitive to the recycle ratio and more recycle seemed to be beneficial for improving process efficiency and reducing CO2 emission.
