제목 Liquid fuel produced from Carbon Dioxide Hydrogenation over Bi-metallic catalyst
초록 Despite recent economic and political developments as well as global successes of new techniques in the fossil fuel market, it remains undisputed that fossil fuel reserves are finite and new approaches for energy generation and transport & storage have to be researched and developed. Chemical storage of energy, which in turn is generated based on renewable sources, is of great interest, usually focusing on hydrogen, methanol, ethanol and methane. Through a Fischer Tropsch process over an iron based catalyst, a methane rich hydrocarbon mixture is obtained which can be fed as blending mixture into existing natural gas infrastructure. While CO hydrogenation, FT process, has been studied in various methods, the hydrogenation of CO2 has less number of processes and catalysts. The here post shows the work has been studied and suggests an approach that could potentially be advantageous for the product of hydrocarbons by CO2 hydrogenation process.
