제목 | Catalytic Conversion of CO2 and CO into Hydrocarbons by Intra-zeolite Frustrated Lewis Pairs |
초록 | Chemical reduction of CO2 with H2 produces various mono-carbon (C1) compounds, CO2 + nH2 -> C1 + ( ), according to the catalyst and its reaction envronment. The simplest case is the formation of formic acid (n=1) and the most complex and highly energy consuming one is the Sabatier reaction (CO2 + 4H2 -> CH4 + 2H2O). Inorganic heterogeneous catalyst having Frustrated Lewis Pair (FLPs), a set of Lewis acid (protic site) and Lewis base (hydridic site), may reduce the reaction steps and thus the energy cost of the reaction, since it can directly transfer hydride ions (H-) to the reactant instead of indirect transfer of proton (H+) with two electrons (e-). Intra-zeolite FLPs, possessing FLPs within the nano-pores, catalyse the reaction after the sorption of CO2 onto the surface of nano-pores and convert it into CO and water (RWGS reaction). After then, CO reacts with H2 to produce CnH2n+2, i.e. the Fisher-Tropsch reaction proceeds. Pt and Pd nanoparticle loaded zeolites (NaY & ZSM5) were used as catalyst. The reaction mechanism investigated by in operando FT-IR, on-line gas chromatography and in operando XRD will be presented. |
