제목 Synthesis of effective supercapacitor by assembly of MnO2- and MoO3-coated carbon fibers
초록 With the advent of Industry 4.0 era, demands for flexible energy storage device are increasing in various application fields including electric vehicle, foldable displays, and bendable mobile phones. To accommodate such demand, we report a preparation method for high performance flexible supercapacitor device based on metal oxide-coated carbon fiber (CF). In specific, carbon fibers are coated with manganese dioxide (MnO2/CF) and molybdenum oxide (MoO3/CF) to enhance the electrochemical performance by formation of hybrid capacitor. Consequently, MnO2/CF and MoO3/CF electrodes are assembled as flexible asymmetric energy storage device with high specific capacitance of ca. 5.0 mF/cm2. Also, resulting flexible supercapacitor device is able to lighten up the red LED bulb showing the superb performance of the device.
