제목 Enhancing Wettability of Cokes and Binder Pitch by Fluorination for High Density
초록 In this paper, density of carbon blocks were increased by molding compression of fluorinated cokes and binder pitch. XPS data showed fluorine content on the surface increase up to 28.97%. Wettability of fluorinated cokes and Binder pitch was examined at different temperatures. Through contact-angle tests, increment of fluorine on the surface of Cokes improved wettability property between cokes and binder pitch up to 70.1%. True density of Carbon blocks at the best wettability condition, increased 9.5% compared to carbon block consist of pristine cokes and binder pitch.
