The flexible organic photovoltaic cells (OPVs) with high transparent and controlled conductivity of PEDOT:PSS electrodes treated by dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), and fluorosurfactant as an additive were fabricated from a low-bandgap donor polymer, PTB7, and PC70BM acceptor. Also, we investigated a correlation between the PTB7/PC70BM bulk-heterojunction morphology and electrical property of the PEDOT:PSS conducting polymer electrode. The device exhibited improved power conversion efficiency from a double coated PEDOT:PSS layer for an anode with a 5vol% DMSO and a 0.1vol% fluorosurfactant due to the optimized coverage with enhanced FF of the cells which correlates to high conductivity and charge extraction. The conducting polymer based electrode can be a meaningful approach to replace the Indium tin oxide (ITO) electrode due to the crack resistances and better durability for flexible OPVs |
