제목 Fluorinated Imaging Materials for Micropatterning of Organic Light-Emitting Diodes
초록 High resolution organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) are being required for augmented reality and virtual reality. Even though vacuum deposition of small organic functional molecules through fine metal mask is a conventional process to construct pixel arrays, realization of high resolution OLEDs with this technique seems difficult because of resolution limits of metal mask. One of the promising candidates to overcome this huddle is orthogonal photolithography with fluorous solvents and highly fluorinated photoresist materials. This concept enables lithography on organic layers because fluorous solvents do not interact extensively with non-fluorinated materials, resulting in no chemical erosion or deterioration of organic layers. According to this concept, we synthesized a perfluoroether-tagged calixarene (RF-R2) and a fluorinated photoacid generator (PAG2). And RF-R2 and PAG2 were applied to the fabrication of patterned OLED pixels.
