제목 Selective Syntheses and Properties of Anionic Surfactants Derived from Isosorbide
초록 Two series of anionic surfactants, endo-5-O-alkyl isosorbide-2-O-propyl sulfonate sodium salt(ENISS-n) and exo-2-O-alkyl isosorbide-5-O-propyl sulfonate sodium salt(EXISS-n), with C6~C12 alkyl chains were synthesized from isosorbide derived from biomass, via steps of allylation, alkylation, and sulfonation. The surface tensions at the critical micelle concentration(cmc) were between 25 and 32 mN/m and the cmc was evaluated in the ranged from 10−2 to 10−4 mol/L. The synthesized surfactants have been measured to critical micelle concentration, foaming test and emulsion property and compared to two ENISS-n and EXISS-n.
