Synthesis of dipolar ring-fused thiophene derivatives for efficient light absorptionand charge transfer of organic solar cells |
초록 |
Organic solar cells have potential merits such as lightweight, flexibility and low process cost. But the light conversion efficiency is still low compared to silicon-based solar cell and is under improvement. Constituted materials are required to absorb solar spectrum as wide as possible and perform efficient charge transfer. For the better light conversion efficiency, we introduced ring-fused bithiophene substituted with withdrawing and donating groups. These substituted ring-fused bithiophenes prevent the ring twisting and thus reduce the band gap. Optical characterization was performed with UV-vis spectroscopy and cyclic voltametric analysis. |
