제목 Low Bandgap Isoindigo-based Copolymer for Polymer Solar Cells
초록 The use of isoindigo(iI) as a new acceptor in conjugated systems taking advantage of the D-A approach for OPVs. Isoindigo has strong electron-withdrawing character due to its two lactam rings. Isoindigo-based oligomers were showed promising absorption spectra and favorable electrochemical and photovoltaic (PV) properties. Their broad absorption spectra, high extinction coefficients, and appropriate energy levels inspired us to modify their chemical structures and explore their PV performance further. In this work, we present the synthesis and detailed characterization of low band gap  copolymer semiconductors which are prepared from the combination of the isoindigo unit with thiophene moieties via Stille coupling.
