제목 Effects of Side Chain Bulkiness on Nano Fibril Structure in Novel Copolymers Containing Intramolecular Interactions
초록 To achieve high planarity and processability at the same time, introducing intramolecular interaction can be good alternative way. We have synthesized a family of novel copolymer containing intramolecular interaction with different bulkiness side chain. The bulky alkyl chains on benzene might induce more strong interaction between polymer chains resulting from the repulsion force of alkyl chain. The strong intramolecular interaction induced different fibril structure of copolymers. In film morphology study, the bulkier alkyl chain promotes face-on-oriented lamellar structure and larger fibril structure. This phenomenon was demonstrated by 1D and 2D GIXRD. The polymer which has smallest side chain has remarkably higher carrier mobility than that of polymers having bulkier side chain. This results demonstrate bulky side chain promote face-on-oriented lamellar structure and act as insulating layer to be prevent charge hopping, in spite of the larger fibril structure
