Thermo Photovoltaic(TPV) cell is innovative resource to convert thermal radiation into electricity. The cell has allowed wavelength range to convert the radiation into electricity. GaSb cell is one of promising matter which has valid range to 1700nm wavelength. However, providing the maximum radiation energy into valid range is the key of performance and lifetime of the cell. Selective emitter does important role in this system raising convert efficiency. We focused on that multi stacks of metal-dielectric nanolayers in metascale show permittivity and refractive index transition at interface of each layers. Optical topological transition in the photonic isofrequency surface intends the metamaterial effect including double refraction filtering effect. Before examination, number of stack and thickness of nanolayers was optimized using optical simulation. Sapphire substrate was used because it doesn’t disturb the whole absorption spectrum due to infrared transparency. To fabricate Pt-Alumina nanolayer stack, which can endure high temperature of the TPV module, we used multi target sputter. As we expected, it showed difference aspect of transition compared to single nanolayer. |
