제목 Galactosylated T1-weighted MR contrast agent for cancer diagnosis
초록 Diagnosis of cancer is very essential for the treatment and prognosis of the patient. therefore, imaging devices and contrast agents are essential for accurate cancer diagnosis. but, there is a concern about the safety of contrast agent. In this study, we designed galactosylated macrocyclic chelator based T1-weighted contrast agent (CA) for stability. macrocyclic chelator was conjugated with galactose to improve the water proton exchange rate by surrounded hydrogen bonding, 1H NMR & 13C NMR spectrum were conducted to demonstrate the synthesis of CA. in addition, xylenol orange method proved that free Gd3+ was not present in the CA. In vitro and in vivo paramagnetic properties of CA showed relatively high intensity compared to conventional macrocyclic chelator-based CA. These results demonstrated that galactosylated T1-weighted MR contrast agent can be used as a cancer diagnostic CA.
