제목 Simulation and Economic Analysis of Integrated Gasification Fuel Cell
초록 Integrated gasification fuel cell combine cycle plant (IGFC) is a promising technology for power generation because of its advantage for carbon dioxide capture and high generating efficiency. The IGFC power plant is a combined power generation plant with three power generation types, which is consist of gas turbine power generation using syngas from coal gasification, steam turbine power generation using waste heat, and fuel cell (SOFC, MCFC). Many factors have an influence on the output and cost of IGFC plant. In this study, a steady-state IGFC power plant model is simulated by using Aspen Plus and carbon capture concepts are considered the factors that influence the performance. The proposed carbon capture concepts are pre-fuel cell capture and post-fuel cell capture. In addition, water gas shift (WGS) reactors and a heat exchanger network are used for high generating efficiency. A physical adsorbent SELEXOL is applied to purify the syngas and remove the sulfur compounds that have a negative effect to the fuel cell and the environment. The result shows the proposed IGFC power plant model has a better power generation efficiency than the conventional power plant.
