초록 |
Conventional mercury treatment is difficult to remove or manage the mercury completely. So we’ve started looking for new materials and methods, which adsorb the mercury with high adsorption rate. So far we’ve found that TiO2 and activated carbon has high adsorption rate for removal of gas phase mercury (more than 90%). And now we are concerning about the zeolite. The mechanism of adsorption by natural zeolites was found to be ion-exchange, Which is similar to gas phase mercury adsorption by TiO2. We will smash the natural zeolite and coating it to glass bead with various materials to be a sorbent for gas phase mercury. And treating with additive in the case of synthesized zeolite for gas phase mercury adsorption. |
